Out of This World –
A Space Discovery Journey
On Friday, Oct. 15th students are invited to an interactive space discovery presentation. Hands-on activities will include constellation mapping, creating asteroid craters, making mock-rockets, learning about space technology used in everyday life, studying gravitational pull and more!
BONUS OPTION: If students wish to come for both sessions, they are invited to watch a special movie from the Kennedy Space Center entitled “See Stars”, as well as create their own version of the Van Gogh classic Starry Night.
Session 1 : 8:00 am – 9:55 am K-2nd Grades (Older grades - bonus option)
Session 2: 10:10 am – 12:00 pm for 3rd-6th Grades (Younger grades -bonus option)
Busses will pick up at the regularly scheduled morning time and will return at noon – Out of town students will need to stay for both session unless a parent arranges to pick them up.
