Laramie Field Trip

On Friday, Oct. 22^nd students are invited on a field trip to Laramie.    We will tour the territorial prison, and visit with the UW men’s wrestling team and tour their training facilities.  We will leave the school at 8:15 and return at 3:45.  Busses will pick up at the regularly scheduled morning time, but parents will need to pick their children up promptly from school.

All students need to come prepared for cold weather by wearing a jacket, enclosed shoes, and long pants.  Your child should also bring a water bottle, hat and/or sunscreen, gloves, and a sack lunch.  Only a small afternoon snack will be provided, so please feed your children a good breakfast or encourage them to attend breakfast in the lunchroom so they do not go hungry.

BONUS OPTION:  The 4^th – 6^th graders are invited to stay in Laramie and attend the UW women’s soccer game.  Students who choose to stay for the game should bring money to purchase dinner.  The late bus will be returning to the school at 7:30 – parents will need to pick their children up promptly from school. 

IMPORTANT: In order to finalize our reservations, we have to have a solid head count by Wednesday the 20^th.  Students MUST turn in their permission slips by the end of the school day or they will not be able to go.
