Friday Enrichment Activity Invitation:

A Tour of the Past w/Dick Perue, Story-Telling Rehearsal, and Pizza Party!

What was it like living in the Platte River Valley nearly one-hundred years ago?  What would ranch kids do for fun?  How has life changed since then?  How has it stayed the same?  On February 25th students are invited to learn the answers to all these questions and more through a special multi-media presentation by local historian Dick Perue.  Students will even get to take home a piece of history for themselves!  Please plan on meeting in the library.

Plus More: There will be a story-telling rehearsal for all participants.  Please plan on attending this rehearsal so you will be ready to participate in the March performance!

Plus Pizza!!

Younger Grades (K – 2^nd Grade)

·         Session 1 :             8:00 am – 9:55 am – A Tour of the Past w/ Dick Perue

·         Session 2:              10:10 am – 11:00 am – Story-Telling Workshop

Older Grades (3^rd – 6^th Grade)

·         Session 1:              9:00 – 9:55 am – Story-Telling Workshop

·         Session 2:              10:10 am – 12:00 pm– A Tour of the Past w/Dick Perue

Busses will pick up at the regularly scheduled morning times and will return at noon.
