University of Wyoming Art Mobile

On Friday, Oct. 1st students grades K-6th are invited to experience University of Wyoming’s Art Mobile.  This mobile art exhibit features artwork from the University Art Museum’s permanent art collection, as well pieces by Wyoming artists.  Students will meet in the school cafeteria to examine and discuss the art collection and then participate in a hands-on art workshop sponsored by the University of Wyoming Arts Department.
Session 1: 8:00 am – 9:55 am for K-2nd Grades
Session 2:  10:10 am – noon for 3rd – 6th Grades
SPACE IS LIMITED!  Unfortunately the workshop facilitator can only work with 30 students at a time.  ONLY the first 30 students per session who turn in their permission slips will be allowed to participate. 
Busses will pick students up at the regularly scheduled time and will leave the school at 12:00 – Out of town students will need to stay for both session unless a parent arranges to pick them up.   
PARENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS are also invited to attend a public viewing of the art exhibit in an open house from 12:30 – 2:00pm at the school cafeteria.

World Exploration: Japan

On Friday, Sept. 24th students grades K-6th are invited to a world exploration of Japan.   With guest speaker Debby Wada, this activity will feature interactive learning stations where students will learn about the Japanese culture, art, language, and customs.

Session 1 : 8:00 am – 9:55 am for K-2nd Grades
Session 2:  10:10 am – noon for 3rd – 6th Grades

Busses will pick up at the regularly scheduled A.M. time and will return at 12:00 – Out of town students will need to stay for both session unless a parent arranges to pick them up.
